The authors describe the case of a 71-year-old female patient who initially went to dermatologist assess scalp skin tumor. This lesion was submitted an incisional biopsy, performed by herself, and result anatomopathological examination immunohistochemical study showed preliminary diagnosis metastasis breast carcinoma. had no history cancer and, in view this result, she referred consult with mastologist, carried out investigation nodules search possible primary focus carcinoma, through imaging exams, biopsies mammotomy, without finding any on breasts. Finally, removed its entirety plastic surgeon new exam pathological anatomy confirmed In these results, discuss difficulty diagnosing differentiation from or metastatic neoplasm scalp, resources currently available, until conclusion that it carcinoma sweat gland.
